Trinity Episcopal Church welcomes parishioners, neighbors, and the broader community to participate in our education programs.

Trinity Parish has been a presence in the Southport Connecticut area for almost a quarter of a millennium.  Through these years, its buildings have been ravaged by British soldiers, wind, fire, tornado, and most recently, Hurricane Sandy.  But here on the church grounds, so richly blessed to be but a block away from the Long Island Sound and the magnificent views, peaceful shoreline, and nautical breezes of Southport Harbor, we cannot help but feel the presence of God's calming mercy and grace.  The glorious trees, the verdant grass, the sweet blossoms of the dogwoods and azaleas on a beautiful Spring day beckon us to sit on a bench and be thankful for all we have been given, both in our personal lives and as a Parish.

These lovely surroundings attest to the faith and dedication of our forbearers in ensuring Trinity Parish's survival through the devastations and challenges of these many centuries.  The beauty of nature that surrounds our church home reminds us that all things are created new in Him.  Nothing can destroy that which is within our hearts, and so the rebuilding of Trinity has occurred more than once, the gardens and trees replanted many times, and the seasons roll on.

And so does Trinity Parish, and as it has for over 150 years, our spire remains a community landmark, a welcoming beacon for travelers and sailors, an emblem of Trinity's enduring witness, and a soaring symbol of God's transcendence and love.
