Our group arrived in Salisbury on Sunday--some by car from Sulgrave and some by train via Waterloo Station in London. From the railway station, this was the first sighting of the tallest spire in England (the left spire). So exciting to behold our destination for the first time!
The juxtaposition of the village church to the cathedral spire is a symbol of how much Salisbury has influenced the world.
